The White Sox Josh Campanelli went 3-4 with 3 singles. Jeremy Fernandes, Joey Carvalho & Tasha Mederios all showed great patience at the plate drawing a combined 8 walks.Defensively for the Sox LF Jeremy Fernandes had an assist by throwing to 2nd baseman Tasha Mederios who tagged out the runner. C Josh Campanelli held the ball through an illegal massive collision at the plate to get the runner out. Whie Sox pitcher Randy Melo got the win going 7in. 4K's 3BB's (Another Gem)

The White Sox Corey Bernardo was 3 for 4 with a walk. He also hit a solo homerun and a triple! Good defense was played all around. The pitching staff just couldn't handle the tough Tigers offense.

The White Sox' Jeremy Fernandes banged a triple in his 1st at bat. Chris Rondon, Josh Campanelli and Jeremy Fernandes each scored 2 runs leading the White Sox to a hard fought victory. After the starting pitcher could not get out of the first inning rookie pitcher Joey Carvalho came in and took control of the game. Tasha Medieros also pitched her first inning of the season. In the bottom of the ninth with a runner on 2nd and 1 out, CF Chris Rondon made a FULLY extended diving catch to keep the game alive. In an 8 inning win for the Whites Sox, Corey Bernardo, Randy Melo & Joey Carvalho hit clutch doubles in the late innings. Dior Andrade drove in the winning run with a single to right field. Rookies Bryan Hamilton, Trevelis Morman & Nathan Faria all had their first hits of the season. Excellent defensive was played by 3rd baseman Jeremy Fernandes & 2nd baseman Tasha Medieros

Kyle Morias pitched 4 innings with 5K’s & 5BB’s, Corey Bernardo pitched 2 innings of relief. The White Sox defense caused 3 rundowns & completed each one. Tasha Medieros played solid defense at 2nd base. W.S. bats were quiet for most of the game, but began to come alive in the late innings. W.S. rookies had a tremendous night in the field and at bat.

The Senior Division White Sox pulled out a close one against the Rangers.
Kyle Morias played great defensively, beginning a rundown from the mound that nailing a runner and also made a great line drive catch preventing the Rangers from scoring.
Dior Andrade pitched in defensively tracking down a long fly ball to left.
Josh Campanelli hit a Triple in the 5th inning. Joey Carvalho hit a long double to the fence. White Sox leadoff batter Chris Rondon reached base each at bat and has only struck out 1x in 2008

The White Sox had a balanced offensive attack but it just wasn't enough.
The White Sox displayed some great defense in an effort to keep the game close. RF Nathan Araujo had a superb assist as he completed a relay to S.S Randy Melo who fired to 3rd baseman Jeremy Fernendes nailing a runner at 3rd. Catcher Josh Campanelli also picked off a runner with a snap throw to 1st.

Senior Division White Sox Start Season With A Win
The Senior Division White Sox defeated the Tigers 12 to 2 in opening day action. Pitcher Randy Melo tossed a complete game with 10 K’s while walking just one. White Sox offense was led by Corey Bernardo with 3 hits.Chris Rondon chipped in with 4 stolen bases.
