Major White Sox 8 Tigers 2
The Major Division White Sox handed the Tigers their 1st loss of 2008. Tyler Quinn Pereira had a monster day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 5 rbi including a 3 run homerun. Cory Barboza was 2 for 3 with an rbi and 3 runs scored. Brady Bouley also chipped in with a hit and an rbi. Lance DeSousa lined a doulble to right in the 6th inning driving in a run. AJ Berube got the win pitching the 1st 3 innings with 3 k's and surrendering only 1 run. Berube also had a hit and 2 runs scored. Corey Barboza got the save with a 3 inning 6 stikeout performance also giving up just one run

AJ Berube pitched the 1st 3 innings with 8k's and Cory Barboza came on in relief striking out 6 Rangers batters while the White Sox offense managed to scrape together 5 runs to defeat the Rangers. Trevor Charron lead the White Sox offense with a hit,rbi and run scored.

The White Sox trailed all game but never gave up scoring 2 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to bring the game within reach. The White Sox offense was led by Tyler Quinn Pereira 3 for 3, 2RBI (3 doubles), Cory Barboza 2 for 3 (double,triple), Brady Bouley 2 hits, 2RBI, AJ Berube & Dominic Jackson also chipped in with hits.

The White Sox won their 1st game of 2008 behind a strong defensive effort, no errors. The offense was lead by Cory Barboza 2 for 2 w/1RBI, Shane Raposa 1 hit 1 run, Tahj Chapman, 1double 1 RBI, Dominic Jackson 1 Double 1 run.
AJ Berube notched the win pitching 4 1/3 w/10k's.
Brady Bouley got the save 1 2/3 w/ 4 k's.
